Tiny northern hilltop hamlet

A tiny hilltop village in northern Gozo named after its olive groves — panoramic views, prehistoric remains, and some of Gozo's most affordable property.

Walkability
Limited. Village is walkable but has no amenities. Countryside walks are excellent. Car essential for daily needs.
Parking
Excellent. No parking issues whatsoever.
Noise
Extremely low. One of the quietest inhabited places in the Maltese islands.
Transport
Very poor. Infrequent buses. Car essential.

Zebbug's parish church contains a painting by the famous Maltese artist Mattia Preti — the same artist who painted the ceiling of St. John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta. Having a Preti original in a village church with 1,400 residents is a remarkable example of Gozo's disproportionate artistic heritage.
