Parking
Good. Easier than most harbour area towns. Street parking generally available.
Noise

Transport
Good. Buses to Valletta (15–20 min), Paola, and Three Cities.

The Tarxien Temples were discovered in 1914 by local farmers who kept hitting large stone blocks while ploughing. Archaeologists found stone carvings of bulls, goats, and pigs — evidence of animal sacrifice rituals from 3,600 BC. A massive stone statue of a skirted figure, probably a fertility goddess, was found broken into pieces. The original carvings are now in the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta.
